About

TwentyThirty features stories about people who are leading for change. It sheds light on the challenges we face and showcases people and organizations that are working to solve them.

Injustice, poverty, hunger, climate change: The international community has committed itself to the United Nations 2030 Agenda and, thus, to finding solutions to the world’s most urgent problems within the next few years. The Agenda’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals call on all countries to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They recognize that ending poverty must go hand in hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs.

The clock is ticking, and it’s an immense task. Success depends on people who take on responsibility and demonstrate leadership. Who are leading for change. Who fight passionately and persistently for a better world – as individuals and as a community.

      • TwentyThirty is part of this community, and the name is directly inspired by the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
      • TwentyThirty is an online magazine that sheds light on the challenges we face and shares stories about leaders and organizations that are working to solve them.
      • TwentyThirty hopes to inspire others to play a part in shaping our future. If committed people are successful, so too will be the 2030 Agenda.

For the future starts now!

TwentyThirty is presented by the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt.
